salthouse
salthouse was founded by brothers Stacey and Anthony as a reflection of the spaces, conversations, and experiences that shaped them growing up. Before we ever loved coffee, we loved what could happen around it — people bonding, sharing ideas, dreaming together, and finding a sense of belonging in even the smallest rooms.
We built salthouse to feel warm, familiar, and intentional. A place where people feel welcomed in, inspired by the details, and comfortable enough to stay awhile. Somewhere that feels less like passing through and more like coming home.
Because we believe small spaces can hold a lot of soul — and that a good cup of coffee can bring people together in meaningful ways.
On the way to everything, eventually.
Who We Are
-
salthouse exists to create a place where people can settle in and feel at home
-
Radical Hospitality
Everyone is welcome at salthouse. That welcome is generous, but it is also protected. We care for the comfort and safety of the whole room — our guests, our team, and the shared experience between them.
Built on Trust
Trust is earned in the details: in honest action, careful craft, accountability, and respect. We believe doing the right thing, especially when no one is watching, is part of the standard.
Intentional Craft
Coffee is not incidental here. We care about where it comes from, how it is handled, and how it is served. Every choice is made with purpose, from sourcing to preparation to the final moment across the counter.

salthouse was founded by brothers Stacey and Anthony out of a love for the kinds of places that bring people together. Growing up, their home was always filled with conversation, laughter, food, music, and people gathering together — and over time, they began dreaming about recreating that same feeling in a space of their own.
Long before coffee became a craft, it was a reason to slow down, sit together, and stay awhile.
Set along Scott Boulevard in Decatur, salthouse was built from the belief that even a small space can hold a lot of soul. Every detail is intentional: the coffee, the music, the light in the room, the welcome at the counter. Not for the sake of appearance, but to create a place that feels warm, familiar, and worth returning to.
Hospitality is at the heart of it all. We want people to feel known here — comfortable enough to stay awhile, meet someone new, share ideas, or simply take a breath before the rest of the day.
Because some of the best things in life happen slowly, over conversation and a good cup of coffee.
On the way to everything, eventually.
